The City of Tagaytay

My summer 2016 is full of adventure and new experiences. Among all the places I traveled, there is only one place that stand out the most. It made me feel free and inspired me a lot.  It is a place worth visiting and I guarantee you that you should put it to your "To-travel" list. I don't need to keep you hanging so everyone, that place is Tagaytay.

Tagaytay is one of the most popular tourist destination in our country. It is a great place to take a vacation in summer because of its cool climate like Baguio. It is located in the province of Cavite, approximately 56 km south of Manila. It takes about 2 hours of travel from Taguig and its an easy travel to get there by SLEX if you're riding a private vehicle or the San Agustin Bus.

Tagaytay has many tourist attractions that you will love. It also have a beautiful scenery and you can see Taal Lake itself there. Tagaytay is an ideal place to take Instagram photos and a good place to test your photography skills that's why I get inspired a lot

Upon reaching Tagaytay, we head first to Sky Ranch, Sky Ranch is a famous amusement park in San Agustin Highway, Tagaytay and it has many rides to choose from. Before entering the park itself, we looked for a place to eat and the surroundings of Sky Ranch has a line of fast food chain and restaurants surrounding it. All you have to do is choose. It took us a hard time to choose where we'll be eating. There were KFC, Kenny Rogers and many more. We decided to eat in Kenny Rogers instead.

After eating, we went inside Sky Ranch, they have an entrance fee of P100 per head but don't let  the entrance fee cancel your plan of going there, its worth it. We saw a lot of rides, It has a Super Viking, Sky Cruiser, A mini roller coaster, bumper car, Ferris wheel, express train and many more. Each ride has a fee so we decided to choose one ride. While choosing a ride, we looked around and saw some booths. Each booth has a cool game and when you win a game, it has a corresponding prize. It looks great.

Finally, we decided our ride. We chose the Sky Cruiser. Its a ride where you ride a bike but the path that you'll be taken will be in a loop that is elevated, few feet higher from the ground. We decided to take it because it looks fun however, it costs P100 for one turn but it didn't stop us. Its a great experience I tell you. You can see the view when you take that. When you decided to come here, take that ride and some other rides.

Next, we head to Picnic Grove,it is a park where you can take a picnic, go sightseeing and buy souvenir and go for an eco trail. You can buy so many things here. Food, souvenir, you name it. You can ride a zipline and be in one with nature. Picnic Grove is a wonderful place for nature lovers. As a nature lover, I enjoyed the eco trail part there. It has beautiful plants and you can see the Taal Lake.It even has a hanging bridge and I swear, you'll survive. Its heaven I tell you. You can experience it for P50.

We spent the night in Batangas but Tagaytay has hotels that you can stay in: The lake hotel, Summit Ridge and Taal Vista Hotel. The next day, we went to our very last stop, The place where  the Guinness Book of Records "Biggest Puzzle Collection" is found. The place is a bit hidden because it is around a residential area which is in Brgy. Asisan  but once you're near there, you will see a sign and a steep downhill road greets you before reaching your destination so fix your brakes before coming there.

Once you entered the mansion, you will be greeted by puzzles. It is a great sight. Every corner of the mansion, there were different kinds of puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, those architectural puzzles that you must assemble to form the structure. There were small puzzles and big ones, some 3D puzzles that looks cool. It is a puzzle heaven. If you're interested in going there, it costs P100 and you won't be disappointed.

After Puzzle Mansion, we are hungry and went to a nearby bulalohan to eat. Once you reach the highway, it will be the first thing that you'll see. It has yummy food especially the Bulalo itself and it has a wonderful view of the Sky Ranch and the lake. What a great way to end a trip.

Going to Tagaytay is one of the best experience I had and I know that you will too. When summer strikes again, try going to Tagaytay and experience the same joy I felt when I get there. I assure you, its worth it.
