City of Fun and Adventure

Legazpi city is the center of tourism in the Bicol Region. It is a component city and the capital of the province of Albay in the Philippines, There are many co-creation activities are here! Resorts, beaches, museums, parks, and beautiful views can be found.

Mayon Volcano, one of the Philippines' most popular icons and tourist destinations is in Legazpi City. It is the most famous of the active volcanoes of the Philippines, is a perfect stratovolcano rising to 2462 m on Luzon Island. Many tourists go here because of its amazing symmetric shape.

Next is the Cagsawa Ruins Park. A visit to Cagsawa is one of the best times to capture a memory for your Facebook and Instagram. There is a small resort with a pool beside the ruins where you can enjoy swimming under the watchful gaze of Mt. Mayon. Also, you can find several souvenir shops offering colorful native products such as handbags, mats, shirts and handicraft made from indigenous materials like abaca.

Another is the Albay Park and Wildlife, were many activities awaits you! The facilities here are food court, picnic groves, children’s playground, lagoon, gazebo, animal cages, and many more. Special features are Baranwitan sa Wildlife (fishing), egg hunting on Easter Sundays, bicycle for rent, boat for rent, and kalesa also for rent. Many physical activities are here, so what are you waiting for? Go here because it worth some fun!

Bicolanos’ favorites are spicy foods. There Pinangat are the best. There’s something in that combination of fresh taro leaves, creamy coconut milk, a few grams of pork or crab meat or shrimp, and the assortment of flavorful spices that makes you crave for more of pinangat. Another is my all time favorite, the irresistible and delicious food, the Guinobatan Longganisa. This longganisa or pork sausage definitely packs a wallop when it comes to taste. It comes in regular and spicy flavors. Whenever we go there I always eat this on breakfast. For desserts, they have their very own spicy and cold sili ice cream, with spiciness levels ranging from 1 to 10.

For ways to go to Legazpi, in land you can use bus or car, in rails you may use the PNR, and in air there is the Legazpi Airport. And for accommodations, The Pepperland and Alicia Hotels, at your service!
