Cultural Background of Bicol
     The Bicol region of the Philippines enjoys a diverse but modern culture: citizens of that region, particularly younger inhabitants, wear Western clothing; the economy depends on agriculture and fishing, and religion plays a prominent role in daily life. The Bicol region includes a series of distinct peninsulas, with topography including mountains and flat lands. Fertile soil in this region and a warm climate supports agriculture as a primary economic activity farmers grows rice, coconut, hemp and fruit trees for consumption and export.

3.  Wonderful Lignon Hill
        One of the attractions to visit in Legazpi City is Lignon Hills. It is 156 meters hill with an overlooking view of the entire Legazpi City and the iconic, Mayon Volcano.

4. Tiwi Hot Springs at Albay
       A highly active thermal area, Tiwi has long been a popular place to "take the medicinal waters" and bathhouses abound. Tiwi is also the site of the mammoth Geothermal Electric Power Plant, which harnesses steam to generate electricity, and a salt making industry.

5. Daraga Church
      An 18th century Baroque church poised on a hill with commanding views of the sea and Mayon Volcano. Its stone masons suffused the facade with statuary, carvings, alcoves and niches at different levels.

6. Lake Buhi at Camarines Sur
        This lake is best known for the fish which is the world's smallest commercially harvested fish, this fish is Sinarapan. But aside from the Sinarapan, Lake Buhi is also home for other marine organisms such as the Irin-Irin, Dalag and Puyo.
